*Social
and Emotional Development*
We focus on activities that help develop children's ability
to interact with others and to identify and deal with emotions
in a socially acceptable way. Some of these activities include
circle time and music time.
*Small Muscle Development*
We focus on activities that help develop the child's ability
to use their small muscles in their hands. Some of these activates
include art, working with scissors, crayons or markers, different
shaped puzzles, table toys and cooking.
*Large Muscle Development*
We focus on activities that help develop the larger muscles
in the legs and arms. Some activities include outdoor play,
music and movement, jumping games, plus a variety of out door
climbing toys.
*Cognitive Development*
We focus on activities that help develop the child's ability
to think, including reasoning, classifying, sorting and labeling.
Some of these activities include, group time, games collage
making and sorting objects by size, colors, and textures.
*Language Development*
We focus on activities that help develop children's ability
to understand and communicate in either verbal or written
form. Some of these activities are reading, finger plays,
dramatic play, rhymes, and story telling.
